There are many good players in the league.  Historically the game has been a bit on the slow side and a game that fouls were not called in the interest of a word physicality. This is the same thing that killed the roller derby.

For some reason since Caitlin Clark joined the league in 2024 and brought a tremendous following giving new exposure to the league, the league has tried to eliminate Caitlin Clark in favor of the old guard. Instead of embracing and incorporating they tried to eliminate her.

Christie Sides figured out how to integrate Clark into the league bringing the team a .500 record and entry in the playoffs while having Clark break numerous rookie records.  However in year two, 2025,  they replace Sides with a coach Stephanie White who is entrenched in the old school style. The league seemed to direct the officials to let a brawl exist on the court and Clark gets taken out.  Player injuries were at an all time high.

2026 had best be a return to basketball.  If not, the league will go bankrupt.
